Wiindy Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Wiindy ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our mobile application and website. As an independent developer, we prioritize your privacy and aim for complete transparency regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect and How We Collect It

To provide a seamless experience, we collect limited data. In accordance with Apple's App Privacy labels, the following data types are collected and Linked to your Identity (User):

• Account Information & Identifiers: Collected when you create an account via our backend provider, Supabase. This includes your Email Address and a unique User ID, used for Account Management and App Functionality.
• Usage Data (Product Interaction): Collected automatically as you use the app. We track your progress through learning tracks (e.g., current day, completed lessons) to ensure the service syncs across your devices. Used for App Functionality.
• Purchases & Subscription Data: Collected via the RevenueCat SDK when you make a purchase. We do not process or store credit card information. We receive a unique subscriber ID and purchase history for Account Management.
• Widget Data: Our iOS homescreen widgets read your progress data locally from your device to display your current daily lessons. Widgets do not passively collect analytics in the background or transmit sensitive device data off-device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and sync the Wiindy app and homescreen widgets.
• Process subscriptions and provide customer support.
• Ensure a personalized learning experience by saving your lesson history.
• Send critical service updates or waitlist notifications (only if explicitly opted in).

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share necessary information with trusted third-party service providers solely for the operation of the app:

• Supabase: For secure database hosting and authentication.
• RevenueCat: For managing subscriptions and in-app purchase validation.

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and are bound by strict confidentiality agreements. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Retention: We retain your account and progress data for as long as your account is active to provide you with a continuous learning experience.

Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly through the Settings screen within the Wiindy app. Once deleted, this action is permanent and data cannot be recovered. Alternatively, you can contact us at the email below to request manual deletion.

5. Your Choices and Revoking Consent

You have full control over your data and device permissions:

• Notifications: You can opt out of receiving push notifications at any time by navigating to your iOS device Settings > Wiindy > Notifications and toggling them off.
• Email Communications: You may unsubscribe from waitlist or promotional emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our emails.
• App Tracking: Wiindy does not track you across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency).

6. Children’s Privacy

Wiindy does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, via an in-app notification.
